  7. ATERM is a software solution for DOS PC users using UNIX host systems.  ATERM
  8. allows DOS users to connect their PC's to a UNIX system via an RS-232 serial
  9. (COM) port.  The ATERM terminal emulation allows the PC user to run UNIX
  10. applications as if logged on the UNIX system console.  ATERM includes a DOS
  11. terminal emulation package and UNIX host-based utilities.  Product features
  12. include the following:  full emulation of ANSI color console (ANSI X3.64) as
  13. supported by SCO XENIX/UNIX and Interactive UNIX; "hot-key" capability to
  14. switch between running DOS on the PC and UNIX on the host system; menu-driven
  15. user interface accessible via a "hot-key", which allows the user to change
  16. directories, redefine printers and transfer files; individual keyboard and
  17. screen map files that dynamically load and unload with the application which
  18. allows programs such as WordPerfect that use multiple key and function key
  19. combinations to perform as intended; bi-directional text or binary file
  20. transfer from DOS to UNIX and vice versa; and re-direction of DOS printers to
  21. the UNIX printer while the DOS applications execute as usual, as if a printer
  22. is directly attached to the DOS PC, but output is automatically re-routed to
  23. the UNIX print spooler.
